Bent's newest partner is the exceptional 6 year-old stallion, Cassidy,
by the Hanoverian sire Blue Hors Cavan who has been a finalist in
three European Championships, two World Championships, three World
Cup finals and one Olympic games. Unfortunately, Blue Hors Cavan
was gelded following an injury, and Cassidy is this international
champion's only approved son. Read
about Blue Hors Cavan's retirement from competition in March 2007.
Cassidy
earned excellent scores in his Spring 2005 inspection - 9988 77
788 9 and was awarded the Trophy of Aage Ravn for best Danish bred
stallion. 70 days test - fully licensed with a silver medal. In
Fall 2005 he received his lifetime approval from the ISR and was
approved in Spring 2007 for breeding by the GOV, Oldenburg Horse
Breeders Society.
Bent imported this exciting prospect to the United States as a
4 year-old.
"I'm excited by this youngster's talents - he's exceptionally
rideable, has a great deal of modern type and elegance, a particularly
uphill canter and active hind legs and shows talent for the Grand
Prix movements," Bent said.
This promise is being realized - he had a very successful first
year in competition in 2006, winning several NADWA High Score awards
in Florida.
