Bent and John Zopatti demonstrate Grand Prix at FMC Global HR Olympian, Bent Jensen and USDF Gold Medalist, John Zopatti of Wellington, Florida performed two grand prix dressage performances as a portion of the entertainment at last months FMC Global Human Resources Conference. The FMC conference was hosted at the Grand Cypress Equestrian Center, located on at the Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Florida. Read more in Bit & Bridle. Cassidy's sire, Blue Hors Cavan retired from competition During a special honorary celebration, the Danish owned Hanoverian Grand Prix horse Blue Hors Cavan was retired from competition at the 2007 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning on March 10, 2007. Flowers and praise were offered to owner Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen and the Blue Hors Stud manager Esben Møller at the show. Bent's young stallion, Cassidy, is the only approved breeding son of this special stallion. Read more at Eurodressage. Bent Jensen and Liberty Light win the Grand Prix and FEI High Score at the Gold Coast Fall Fling in Wellington Bent and the 10-year old Dutch gelding, Liberty Light, (by Livingstone out of Don Joviana) won the Grand Prix with an impressive score of 67.9%. A notable score for any Grand Prix ride, but this is especially exciting as this season begins Berts full Grand Prix experience. Bent and Libertys debut at the Grand Prix test was at the Hot Summer Nights show in Tampa in June with winning scores of 63.3% and 65.2%. Read entire article in Dressage Daily. Daily. Bent traveled home to help his teacher, Lis Hartel, celebrate her 85th birthday Lis Hartel won silver at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki and at the 1956 Olympics. She also won the unofficial World Championships in Aachen in 1954 and became Danish National Dressage Champion seven times - despite being stricken with Polio at age 23. Erin Moran named to USDF 2006 NAJYRC Team Erin, who has been Bent's students for several years, will compete on the Region 3 team at the 2006 North American Junior and Young Riders Championships.
